• Hey,
I have a blog which I’m hosting on my own through Godaddy.
It has been about 2 years since I started blogging on it, but I feel that I want to start all over again, delete all my blog posts, and start posting anew.

I am worried though, that as soon as I post new content in the same blog, the RSS (which is website.com/feed/ ) will get all scrambled up.

How can I set up a new RSS? and delete the old one?
Like instead of website.com/feed , make a new RSS called website.com/newfeed/ and delete the old one? Making it unaccessible?

  • If you delete any blog posts, they will not appear in your RSS feed, as this is generated from your database of current blog posts.

If you delete all your posts, your RSS will be emptied also. So starting afresh should not scramble anything.

    Happy posting!

I think once all the posts are gone they will no longer show up in your feed. It is coming of the db so feed should only show new posts.
