[Plugin: WP-Filebase Download Manager] Restricting downloads to subscribers

    I’m using v0.2.9.13 of your excellent plug-in, but having problems restricting downloads to registered subscribers only.

    I want to provide a link within a page of content as “_download file_ (registration required)”, so that a logged-in user can click and get the file, but a loggd-out user gets the Inaccessible file message. I have set the access permission for each file to Subscriber, but have found that even when logged out, I can still click on the link and get the file.

    I have tried checking on “Hide inaccessible files and categories” in the settings, but I think this just applies to the listing. And I have tried moving the file to a category with access permission subscriber, applied to all child files. Is there something I have missed, or am I trying to make the plug-in do something it is not designed to do?

    This is probably due to browser caching. When you are logged in an d download the file, it can be cached by your browser. After logging out the file remains in the cache so when the next time you are trying to get the file it is loaded from the cache, not from the webserver. This is not an issue in a real situation, but if you dont like this behavior, you can disable HTTP caching n WP-filebase settings.
