Recently I noticed that on a client’s blog in Internet Explorer – when I clicked a blog post, the page would load for a split second, and then I would get a “Page Not Found” error.

I tried disabling my plugins one by one and I found the error went away when I disabled the Sociable Plugin.

I have since installed the Sociable for WordPress 3.0 plugin – https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/sociable-30/- which works, But it looks like that plugin is from a separate developer and has far fewer options. Also that plugin hasn’t been updated since October 2010.

I only have six other plugins installed: Akismet, All in One SEO, WordPress Facebook Like Plugin, Google Analytics for WordPress, Feedburner, and cformsII.

    My questions are –
    1. Anyone else experiencing issues in IE? (possibly related to compatibility issues with one of those other plugins)
    2. Is the Sociable 3.0 official? Is this a good solution or one I should avoid?

    Thanks!
    Caitlin

Hi qcait, no help but am also experiencing the same problems with sociable. Have disabled the few plug-in I have and still the problem persists. Sorry I have no idea what is causing this but am pretty sure its not a plug-in conflict.
