First, I apologize for beeing a COMPLETE NOOB. I may not be a complete window licker, but I sure could drive the bus, so thank you for all your help in advance.

Second,I did not build this site, I had a friend do it. Now I am having to learn how to be an operator, so far so good. I just purchased a new domain name roughneckstuff.com. I also own cancorsolutions.com. I am forwarding all cancorsolutions.com traffic to roughneckstuff.com.

Problem = when you google roughneckstuff.com the page name shows up at cancor solutions…how to I change this?

Also, the background still says CanCor solutions. How do I change that image out? Somewhere in the themes?

I’m sure there is a post already about changing these things, so if someone could kindly direct me to that, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

    Thanks
    Brad Cantrell

Don’t know about the Google question, but the background (logo) image is in the theme’s images folder: genesis/images/logo.png

Be careful to replace that with the same size image.

I found the image file right where you said it would be. I had to overwrite the existing file which is a new name. I found it on the host server and not in the wordpress gui. Any idea why that is? Again, I am new at this and trying really hard not to suck at life, so I appreciate you help greatly.

Also, since modifying the image file nothing has happened. Had this problem once before and my tech guy who built the page said he had to force clear the cache. I’m thinking this is on the hosting server as well. Any idea how to do that?

    Thanks
    Brad

Don’t quite understand your questions, but it looks like you got a new image.

The image is not in the WP library of images because it was added as part of the theme and not as an upload.
