Blog fullsize layout issue!

  • Hi, I have some trouble with changing layout on my blog.

    I have this theme: Cresendo

    Problem:
    I want a fullsize blog layout when enter blog section.
    For example i want the viewer to see the full text+pictures as showing on “continue reading more” section. But WITHOUT have to press the continue more button.

    So once viewer enter the blog, they will see the complete blog post in fullsize (not any summary) and the comments should show only when you click on comments FROM the fullsize section.

    the reason is that i want the viewer to completley see the fullposts directly, and just scroll down the page to view more. Instead of have to enter all the individual posts to read it in full.

    main reason is that i will have ads, wich need to show directly when user enter the blog.

    However i dont have the time to wait 2 weeks for a reply.
    So i try here ??

  • This is typically done in CSS with the body element and/or adjusted with theme options…As we don’t have access to the theme files and you have not provided a site link, we can be of little further assistance.

    what more do you need from me?
    as the blog is currently installed local.

    but its the same as the default theme, and i havent changed anything.

    tell me what you need, copy of css file?

    No, I think I should have read more, I thought you just wanted to widen the blog to be full width, but it seems you want to modify more…the default twenty eleven theme does not automatically create ‘excerpts’ so I am not sure how to assist.

    i think you missunderstood i mean that i have the “default” Cresendo theme installed. no the twenty eleven.

    and i cant find any feature on how to make “full posts” and disable the summary. (even though its a button in wp for this)

    so i guess its modified by the template theme authors

    this does not seem to work :/
    cant manage to go around it..

    anyone els have any suggestions?

    simply want to disable to “summary” and have it full text, on the front page. is it really that hard.
