[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Site in subdirectory? Event permalink help

Hi, I’ve customised the module to do nearly everything I need but when I went to try it out at my main site it doesn’t work properly.
The WP install is in a subdirectory of my site called https://www.mysite.com/events/
This page works fine but the permalinks to the actual events don’t. They just take me to the large Calendar page (which works as intended). This goes for event permalinks on the front end, the calendar and also the ‘View’ button in the admin.
The permalinks have the structure of ‘https://www.mysite.com/events/event/johns-event/’.
And my settings are
Events URL slug = ‘calendar’
Single Event URL slug = ‘event’
Permalink Custom Structure = ‘/%postname%/’
PHP v5.2.4
WP v3.3.1
The Events Calendar v(2.0.3 / 2.1 – beta from Rob)And just to note that normal permalinks didn’t work either https://www.mysite.com/events/?tribe_events=johns-event
Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks!
