Allowing Authors to manage only their own categories

    Is there a way to allow authors / contributors to add / edit / delete the categories they create while restricting this access to categories created by others?

    From all the permissions plugins I’ve found the only option is to grant “manage categories” which is carte blanche access which is un-desirable on my website.
