[Plugin: WP phpBB Bridge] Plug-in making site load slow

    Hello,

    My wordpress website was working fine and then it started to load very slow. I did a check to see if any of the plug-ins were making my site load slow and I pinpointed the problem. The phpBB WP bridge plug-in is making my site load very slow, about 10-15 seconds to load, and I don’t understand why it is doing this.

    I can confirm that it is the phpBB WP bridge plug-in that is creating the loading problem as I did a plug-in load test (it shows the loading time of all of the installed plug-ins). Can anyone help me out?

    Have emailed thenm on a number of occasions and they choose to ignore any contact about this issue. I have offered to help them and they refuse to accept there is an issue.

    I am stuck with this solution for now but will soon be moving the forum part of my site to SMF rather than phpbb. This plugin is simply rubbish and those supporting it do not seem to care while people send them money.
