Discussion settings: Before a comment appears

    I’m having some trouble understanding these two options:
    An administrator must always approve the comment
    Comment author must have a previously approved comment

    What happens if I check the first one but not the second one?

    If I check both, does that mean that commenters who have already been approved once, do not have to go through the approval process again(if the email address matches up), even if the first option is checked?

    If you only check the second one, then once a comment has been approved for any commenter, upon them commenting again if the UN, email address and IP address match, their comments will show immediately without moderation. This requires a level of trust of a commenter.
