    @dave1p – Have you managed to fix this yourself? If so could you tell me how? I’m having terrible trouble with this plugin on my own site too, slowing it down significantly. Its such a pity because it actually works really well apart from the speed issue.

    An why they took over a plugin they obviously have no intention of supporting is beyond me…

    Nope – Am considering swapping PHPbb for SMF anyway now (for other reasons so just putting up with it for now until I make the change.

    Lack of support for this plug in is appalling – they ignore the emails and any offers of help so as I said before. Install at your peril.
