[Plugin: FitVids for WordPress] FitVids with columns

Hey, this works great in most cases, however my home page is in columns. If I leave the embed code width and height, the video overflows the columns on the home page. If I remove the iframe dimensions, the video appears to default to 16.9 aspect ratio, leaving older formats with huge pillars not only on home page, but also elsewhere.

Any ideas?
