[Plugin: Add Link to Facebook] links posted on facebook are being grouped

i understand that and i had already read that answer of yours while i was browsing in forums for similar problems.

But the i believe something can be done regarding this issue from your side. I am saying this because twitter also automatically posts to facebook and its posts are never grouped. they all are individual posts. And also many plugins are doing that.

so can something be expected to solve this in your future releases for the plugin.

If you know how to solve this, please let me know.
I have looked through the source code of Simple Facebook Connect and there is not much difference in the way links are added.

Did you use the same Facebook account/application/wall to compare the result of Add Link to Facebook and Simple Facebook Connect? If not, are all the Facebook settings the same?

yes i used the same facebook account/application/ wall to compare the results. All the facebook settings were also same.

i will post the screenshots in couple of hours, of both the plugins doing automatic posting in order to show you whats the difference.

i will also try to solve this problem as it is a pain in the a$$. but i hope you come out with some solution soon as apps like twitter,the washington post social reader dnt have any such issue.

Maybe the screenshots help to identify the difference.
Maybe it is the title or caption that causes the grouping.

The link of the screenshot of Simple Facebook Connect is of February 16 and the Facebook layout is different. Could you show me a recent addition of Simple Facebook Connect?

I have done some research and it appears that Facebook grouping is a new Facebook feature and that more people are complaining about it (not only Add Link to Facebook users).

I only see one link added by Simple Facebook Connect.
What happens if you add two links with Simple Facebook Connect?
Are they grouped or not?

Okay, thanks for posting the additional screenshot.

I have the idea that a different message stops Facebook from grouping.

Could you please enable the option ‘Use excerpt as message’ (tab ‘Appearance’) and see if this makes a difference?
