Sudden disfunction of site – What could have happened?

    I happily transferred to a WP site about two months ago. Everything seemed to be working fine until this week. I first noticed that our DM Albums on the portfolio page were not working. I could find nothing wrong. Then yesterday, the banner slideshow on my opening page stopped sliding and the text disappeared. Today I discovered that the contact us form is down. I have no idea why? I will have to revert to our old site unless I can figure it all out quickly. Can anyone suggest a possible reason for this creeping dysfunction?
