[Plugin: WordPress Backup to Dropbox] Never gets past "Creating SQL Backup-"

    Hosted with Greengeeks, the backup continuously says “Creating SQL Backup-” and never finishes.

    Under settings:
    Backup warning on 2012-03-04 at 23:59:55: The backup process appears to have gone away. Resuming backup.
    Backup warning on 2012-03-04 at 23:59:28: The backup process appears to have gone away. Resuming backup.
    Backup warning on 2012-03-04 at 23:59:13: The backup process appears to have gone away. Resuming backup.
    Backup started on 2012-03-04 at 23:53:04

    Getting exactly the same messages, not a single backup succeeds.
    WP 3.3.1, Plugin 0.9.4, hosting by Bluehost

    Same here, and I am also on bluehost.

    This is a know issue on many hosts that do not allow a lot of memory or time for PHP scripts.

    I am continually looking for better ways to address this problem and implementing performance updates, so hopefully a future version will work with bluehost.

    They contain the bug fixes and performance updates that will be in the next official release.

    I’m using Dreamhost and getting the same error. I’m really looking forward to seeing this plugin’s issues get resolved!
