In need of guidance and help

  • Hi,
    I have a blog that’s been never used for over a year, because I cannot seem to make it the way I want. Been a while since I did html/css, but now, after been at it for 2 whole days I find I just have to ask for help.
    I have a YT channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/60johnin/featured which I want to link up together with the blog,- which I do not want to use as a blog, but as a small regular website- possibly with fixed front page.Since I’ve paid for it, it seem sensible to use it.
    I’ve tried to work out from a couple of templates, googling for answers (and got some)- but I’m stuck. I just want a few pages, the same background as displayed, a menu that will take you to 4-5 pages and back home, and the option to feature a video on frontpage and some photos on the other pages. A link or two. That’s all.
    No comments, no feeds, no “follow/twitter/widgets”.
    Will anybody here be able to find the time to direct me, possibly to a good page where I can be able to find help?
