Home page not working

    My home page is not working. I delete it and create a new home page. The system still keeps the old one and assign the permalink to home-2. Any idea?

    Even though you deleted the old Home page, until you empty the trash, WP still thinks it exists. Once you get rid of it, you can create a new one (without the “-2”) with no problem.

    You will probably also need to go into Settings>Reading and re-specify this new home page as your landing page for the site. You may also need to update your menu in Appearance/Menus, depending on if you created a custom menu with a “Home” tab.
