Error after updates on plugins

Any ideas on why the whole site would respond with an error message like this:

Fatal error: Class ‘Genesis_Admin_Basic’ not found in /home/content/96/5523096/html/basement/wp-content/plugins/genesis-simple-sidebars/includes/admin.php on line 14

This is a Genesis site template/build, and this was immediately following a plugins update that supposedly was successful. ?
