[Plugin: Web Invoice – Invoicing and billing for WordPress] Want to help translating to dutch and ad

    Hi,

    I have no experience whatsover with programming but if the developer of this plugin would like to help me translate and show me what to translate it to dutch I would be gratefull.

    Just send me the files and i’ll translate them so we have another language.

    And I would like to suggest to add ideal. Ideal is a dutch payment provider which supports all dutch banks.

    This will certainly help dutch people use this plugin. I would also like to add that maybe somewhat more customizable pdf invoiceand the webpage where they can download it would be convenient.

    I have had contact with the Mohanjith about translating it.
    and I tried to write a dutch language file, however I never got it to work…
    regardless of where I made the changes. I must admit my PHP knowledge is limited, but I don’t think there is very much PHP to it.

    in the plugin folder there are several language files and I tried copying a file to web-invoice-nl_NL.mo and web-invoice-nl_NL.po
    making changes in both.

    I think the error might be as simple as naming the language.
    I did:
    .mo file
    X-Poedit-Language: Nederlands
    X-Poedit-Country: NEDERLAND

    .po file
    “X-Poedit-Language: Nederlands\n”
    “X-Poedit-Country: NEDERLAND\n”

    I back you up on the IDEAL option.
    Since I do very little business I don’t intend subscribing to another payment manager, but in order to process recurring billing it is mandatory. also because google checkout is not available for the Netherlands.

    I wonder why you would want to translate this plugin at all as it is not functioning very well anymore and the developer seems to have abandoned the project.

    You’re right on that, but i have also tried other billing plugins and none of them seems to be very good. I’m looking for à plugin to do rebirthing billing via ideal as well. If you have any options i’d love to hear them

    I hear you! Have tried a few myself too until I got so sick of it all that I decided to start looking elsewhere.

    I have just switched to an external tool called Pancake (https://pancakeapp.com/) and although it’s not perfect, it definitely beats the cripple WordPress plugins.

    In their support forums I have checked for anything related to ideal and the only thread I could find is https://support.pancakeapp.com/forums/viewthread/307/, which is vague at best.

    Wouldn’t hurt to ask the support for this item and base your decision on the response you receive…
