Lots of Errors after moving server

  • Hi,

    I am getting loads of errors after i moved my site to a different server. Randomly the site goes slower and slower until it stops working and i get “internal error” not even a 404! Even more confusing id that the old site, which is still running on the server is working fine so it cant be a host problem.

    In addition this is random like i said so i have no way of testing it because sometimes it can go for hours till it errors out or sometimes minutes and its not any particular page or process.

    Has anyone had this problem or know what’s wrong?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of your version of WordPress.
