• It looks like the plugin do something to how the time is displayed in Simple:Press, a forum plugin. In normal condition, the time shown for last posts in Simple:Press could be either hours, minutes or even seconds. When ai1ec is enabled, minutes and seconds are gone. This mean that if I create a new post, it will automatically show “1 hour ago”. I disable ai1ec and refresh the page and it shows “34 seconds ago”.

I *think* this was not the case with previous version. Until this is fixed as 1.5 is close to release, where can I get the previous 1.3 version? This will help me confirm 1.4 introduced the problem too.

    Thanks

  • Hi,
I can try and check Simple:Press as well however will need to find time for this. In the meantime would you be able to find what code in Simple:Press is outputting the time? It is curious that the ai1ec plugin would be altering the time in any manner

Srry I don’t know. In the mean time, where can I get 1.3? I want to test because from what I remember, the problem wasn’t there with 1.3 so you would have a clue.

    Thanks

Ok I was able to try 1.3 and the problem is still there. ??

I’ll try to ask Simple:Press authors if they can answer your question.

    Hey nelra,

Sorry for the delay, the S:P guys looked into this. It was much easier for them to install and enable the plugin to see the problem than you to fully install and configure S:P.

They kind of fixed the problem but it looks like you also have some homework to do. ??

What I’ve been told is that your plugin is resetting the default WP timezone. This cause date calculations to drift.

    I hope this help.
