Should I first install WordPress to install bbpress?

  • I didn’t need wordpress to install bbpress 1.1

    But now I install bbpress 2.0 but can’t figure out how.

    Do I have to first install wordpress to install bbpress 2.0?

    Can I see the example website with bbpress as a plugin for wordpress?

    Visiting such a site will tell me whether I really want bbpress or not.
