• I have tried composing my posts in multiple browers. I have used IE and Opera, which both work fine. Unfortunately, my browser of choice, Firefox, causes some problems.

Now, this might actually be a problem with Firefox, but I couldnt find it out there anywhere.

The problem is that if I use the quicktags to put in a link or img code or anything, it pops me back to the top of the text box.

Up until now Ive just been hitting ‘end’ after I paste something, but its a bit annoying and Im wondering if there is a fix. If not a wordpress thing, maybe a firefox thing?

Well, thanks for reading all of that and thanks for any help.

  • Think it’s firefox “issue” but I found that it’s an illusion. The cursor itself is still in the right spot, it’s just that the text box doesn’t rescroll back to where it was. When I hit one of the QT’s and keep typing, it all somes back in to view.

Yes, youre right. Still a little disorienting, but I can just type away as normal. Its just strange not to have that blinking cursor and see exactly where you are.

IT is, I’ve gotten used to it, I assume it’s a Fx thing because I get that same behavior on other sites (forums and such). I believe it has to do with the way Fx refreshes the screen after the javascript runs.
