[Updated Plugin: Affiliates] New – customizable affiliate URL parameter name

The latest release 1.3.6 now offers the option to change the default Affiliates URL parameter name from ‘affiliates’ to something else. This is handled on the Affiliates > Options screen.

Example: up to now, affiliate links were like this:

https://www.example.com/somepage/?affiliates=123
https://www.example.com/affiliates/123
etc.

Now you can change that, instead of using ‘affiliates’ as the name of the URL parameter, you could use for example ‘ref’ and affiliate links can look like this:

https://www.example.com/somepage/?ref=123
https://www.example.com/ref/123
