Installation problem at bytehost

I am trying to install wordpress at bytehost.
I followed this tutorial.

I used filezilla to upload the contents of wordpress folder to htdocs folder. Then when I went install.php nothing happens.

I used the proper username passwords in wp-config-sample.php (and then renamed the file)

Note: using filezilla, during upload to htdocs a prompt came several times “File exists”. This prompt cam efor several files . So i checked “overwrite if source is newer”.

Also there were 4 failed transfers at the end. But I used the option ” reset and try again”

So any idea why the install is not happening?
