404 error page

    hi to everyone!!!!
    i have a big trouble…
    i got a site, written o n Wp with a lot of bugs and mistakes.
    one of them, is that theme is crazy!!! every page display 404 error,but the content is there. i meen that as user i see everything, but google see only 494. error
    error is only on headers…

    can i modijfy headers to don’t throw 4040 error???
