• I recently installed wordpress and mistakenly (I’m a beginner!) installed WordPress in its own subdirectory called “blog.” (www.missoulahealthconnection.com/blog) I successfully uploaded a theme and got the website working only to realize that I really didn’t want WordPress to be in a subdirectory. I then tried to fix the problem by re-uploading the WordPress files in the main missoulahealthconnection directory and deleting (or trying to delete) the subdirectory called “blog.”

I know that I did something wrong or am forgetting something because my website ( https://www.missoulahealthconnection.com is showing up as a white blank page.

Can anyone tell me what might have gone wrong?

  • You need to first put everything back the way it was in the /blog folder.

I just put the WordPress files back into the /blog folder… it seems to still be blank. Is there something else I need to do?

Hi, I am having a similar problem. I was adding new post yesterday and when I click save draft button the screen would go to a white blank screen. Later after getting frustrated I thought signing out and restarting my computer would help but then I couldn’t find the blog. I googled it and found it. I sent the link to my web designer who uploaded it back but now I can’t find the admin page to login and she doesn’t know how to find it either. The old login page that I saved on my desktop is not working, I get the same blank white screen when I try to login or find the admin page that has https://sonaturelle.com/news_blog/wp-admin/post.php

It seems the problems started after adding the twitter plugin..My blog page is https://sonaturelle.com/news_blog/ ..

I am a newbie to using WordPress, so if you use any technical lingo I will not understand. Keep it simple, or I will send your reply to my webdesigner. My host is https://secure.elatomo.com/cs/

    Please help…

    I’m sorry,I didn’t know.
