Trying to edit a template

  • hi, im trying to edit one of my pages that i am working on. i get all my codes put into the edit template part, and when i go to update file, i get a message that says “The requested theme does not exist”. just wanting to know what to do. we had a different guy get the site up and running so i am new to this stuff. am i in the right area to do so, or where do i need to be?? i am in the edit themes part of the dashboard. HELP please

  • jkociba – in the top right hand side, make sure the theme stated in the select theme to edit drop down menu is in fact the theme that is installed and running.

    thanks .jpg. even when i select the theme from the menu, it says “the requested theme does not exist”. im confused. in the drop down bar, it list the website that i am working on, twenty eleven, and twenty ten. when i select our theme i get that message.
