  • I friends I always wanted to have my own Blog online, which was an inspiration from many of the Blogs and I am an architect and I would like to share all my knowledge and information to other what I know for free of cost.

    I would like to know few things before I start off.

    Would that be a copy right problem if we upload an image or a video to a web-site or a blog ?

    Your answers would be highly appreciated ….

  • That depends upon where you obtained the image from and, if it’s not yours, whether you obtained permission before using it.

    Thanks for the immediate response and the answer Esmi.

    I don’t think I would get the approval or permission from the company where I work to share the information on net for free of cost.

    But, can I update the “Disclaimer” kind of, on the blog ?

    stating “The opinions expressed here are my personal opinions. Content published images / videos is not read or approved in advance by xxxxx company and does not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of xxxxx.”

    Would that be a problem ?

    What would a disclaimer have to do with you using someone else’s images or videos?

    It MIGHT be a copyright issue, depending entirely on the content. Contact a lawyer for legal advice, not weirdos like us on the internet.
