Collapsing Categories Background issue with IE8

I′m using Rob Feltys Collapsing Categories and i like it ?? But in IE 8 i have a strange beahaviour with my webpage @ https://engineering.aseurope.eu . It seems that the backgound (it`s a small png file) is going stuck. I only can see that in IE8,- all other browsers as well as IE 9 are working as expected.
This also only appears if the animation is activated, if i turn it off it`s not there but indeed that′s not that nice.
