White Space Above Image

Go and check your content there may be lots empty <p> in content take them out

Thank you for your response. I’m fairly new to this and my blog was set up by someone I’m no longer working with so can you please explain how I would access the content to remove the empty <p> tags?

you need to log in wordpress admin panel click on posts and you will see list of posts click edit on first one and see if you have empty space before the image if so backspace until there is no space above image.

That’s what I thought it was initially as well but there are no spaces above the image in the post and the white space is showing up at the top of every page even for the older posts.

I only see the space on your blog page and check if there is any empty post before the post with image

I have noticed that the post starts where your sidebar ends so it could be a layout problem for your secondary and primary switch to default theme and see if you have same problem

the theme seems to be based on a badly edited Twenty Ten theme ;-(

for instance, there is no css id #post in the site;
find this in style.css:
#post{float:left}
and change it to:
.post{float:left}

Since you are saying that this problem recently started and is affecting all posts, including older posts… which were fine earlier?

if that is the case the, let us know if you have done any changes lately. Did you add any new plugin… try disabling all plugins to see if that is the reason…

@alchymyth: yes, you’re right it is a badly edited theme and this isn’t the first issue I’ve had with it. I did go in and make the change you recommended.

@home-remedy: there was a change made earlier this week to the product page for the retail portion of the website and the issue with the blog showed up shortly after. i’ve had such a spotty and challenging relationship with the person who designed the site that after the fix on the product page I decided I could no longer work with him. And then of course I saw the blog. sigh…

The issue with the image seems to be fixed! Maybe it was the #post that was causing the problem. Thank you to everyone who responded, I greatly appreciate it!
