Comments on Blog Page

  • How can I allow comments on my blog entries? Right now there is a link that says “comments” below entry, but when clicked, it brings you to the single post, and no place to comment. I’ve “allowed comments” in “Discussion”. Unlike “Products” there is no “Enable Comments” option on Static Blog Page on dashboard. Blog page is: https://www.bargainboys.net/family-collecting/.

  • Has anyone left any comments to be viewed? If there are no comments nothing with will be shown.

    this hidden output from your posts shows that the comments are closed:

    <p class="nocomments">Comments are closed.</p>

    I’ve “allowed comments” in “Discussion”.

    this only works for posts made after the option is ticked – not retrospect.

    check each post under:
    dashboard – posts – all posts – quickedit below each post title – ‘allow comments’
