• Hey,

Suddenly today after moving my DNS away from CloudFlare, I have been unable to post anything new under the Add new post section. I am able to edit old posts and am able to write new one but whenever I click publish it always changed to “Scheduled”.

I have also tried changing the time to Scheduled a few mins ahead of my current time but nothing still happens. I have tried disabling all plugins but still does not work. I have also replaced all the core files and still nothing happens.

The only thing that changed was moving away from CloudFlare but I fail to see why that would affect anything.

Any help would be very thankful.

    Edit

Just adding on that CloudFlare is a DNS provider, not a web provider.

Same problem again, same as above in every way just without CloudFlare this time.

    Any ideas?

When you change DNS it will take 24 hours to 48 hours for them to propagate through the internet, so you may not see any changes for two days.

Is CloudFlare a proxy? If so CloudFlare files may be cached so you may not see any changes. Contact your CloudFlare host about that – need to purge their cache.

I moved away from CloudFlare for weeks now. CloudFlare is a reverse proxy but it isn’t the issue here.

I tried disabling all plugins and nothing. I am wondering if it is something to do with WP Cron, but I haven’t had time to look yet so am still up for ideas.

    1. Check if you are still the administrator of you WP

    2. Check with your host tech support about the changes to DNS and Cloudfare. There may be some system level related firewall or protection or blocks that may be blocking you as administrator or admin privileges.

There could be another possibility. Do you have any cache installed? Trying clearing the cache or disabling the cache for a while.

I am still an admin of the site. I have checked my server, nothing is blocking it that I am aware off and CloudFlare no longer is being used. I am running my own DNS that doesn’t have caching or anything.

When I first had this issue, I disabled all plugins and that includes testing it without a caching plugin I use called WP Super Cache. The only other plugin I had was Jetpack and disabling that does nothing
