    Does anyone have any ideas?

Hey lydp101. Thanks for reaching out. You can completely customize those widgets, luckily, and we put together a post at the tri.be website that should give you what you need to do so. Check it out: https://tri.be/how-to-completely-customize-widgets/.

Let us know if that doesn’t help and we’ll do what we can to assist from there. Cheers!

Hi Rob! Thanks for responding! I’m newbie at this I did take a look at the tutorial only thing is I don’t want to add a thumbnail all I want to do is change the background color and make the view all events link darker. And the tutorial seems like such an elborate session. Isn’t there like a code or a file I can go to and do those two simple changes? Again forgive my ignorance I’m new at this.

    Thanks

Pretty much all design is created in the CSS file. You need to edit the CSS in events.css. The element class is “.dig-in”. If you create a new entry for “.dig-in” and make it darker and/or bolder this will do what you want

Obviously it will affect all other elements with the same class so it may not do exactly what you want it to do

In most browsers you can see styles – in Safari, option-clicking the “See All Events” link will show you the relevant CSS and where it is located

Hi Nick, Thanks I will see look for it and try to make changes.

I have a quick question…have you ever seen this. I have a total of 18 events. For some reason the event itself looks skewed – for example here is a good formatted event:

    https://ethoh.org/?page_id=10

Now here’s a bad formatted event:
    https://ethoh.org/?tribe_events=winter-solstice-cleanse-culmination

Now if I were to create a new event it will post like the bad formatted sample.

Would you know why it’s doing that?

In addition Nick, the events calendar is missing completely for its page: https://ethoh.org/?cat=4

When I checked the Event’s Calendar under settings, the Events URL slug & the Single Event URL slug don’t appear as an option “missing from the setting options”….see pic

Ok – It’s been a long night I believe I figured out why the events were looking skewed I went back and reposted everything. The only issue that I see currently is that the event calendar itself the monthly view is missing completely from the site…blank. See my post above:

the events calendar is missing completely for its page: https://ethoh.org/?cat=4

also above post includes a pic of The Event Calendar where the Events URL slug & the Single Event URL slug don’t appear.

Hi roblagatta was hoping you can get back to me….on the above. Event Calendar missing? If you can please help.

    Im experiencing the same problem

the Events URL slug & the Single Event URL slug don’t appear as an option “missing from the setting options”

I am experiencing the same issue.

OK. May have found a solutions here.

You probably have the default permalinks setting enabled. Change it to one of the pretty permalink structures.

Awesome! its working! Thanks a lot!

Hey guys. It does sound like the solution provided by uiguy (thanks for it, by the way) should do the trick. Lydia, it seems you’re the only one who hasn’t confirmed here…are you still having issues?
