Plugin to add an option to select which script to display?

  • I run a Japanese Q&A website, and I’m working with people of all ability levels with regard to reading. I’m trying to avoid messiness on the articles such as “あの人は先生です。(Ano hito wa sensei desu.)”, etc. by allowing people to select in their options whether they want Japanese displayed in Japanese script or Romaji. What I’m picturing on the composition side to facilitate this is something to the effect of the following:

    [[あの人は先生です。|Ano hito wa Sensei desu.]]

    or perhaps more practically…

    [romaji "Ano hito wa sensei desu."]あの人は先生です。[/romaji]

    That way the post has both options embedded within it, and when displayed it shows according to how the user wants it. Are there any plugins that do this or something similar?
