• Hello,

I was logged in and while in the Hello World sample post, clicked the delete button, (since it says edit or delete this post to get started). The next thing I knew the edit and delete buttons had disappeared. This is what happens now:

I can add a new post, but when I click into a post after it’s been published, the “edit” buttons are not there even though I’m logged in.

Also, I can view and edit my categories and pages, but I CANNOT view “all posts” it leads me to a 404 not found error message saying that the edit.php file could not be found. I checked the wp-admin folder through my hosting control panel and the file is still there. I even tried reloading it, and deleting and re-adding it. No luck.

Please help!! I just put up a bunch of placeholder posts and need to be able to edit and delete them!

I did some more troubleshooting and here’s what I’ve figured out so far:

If I switch back to a generic theme and click into a post while logged in I can see the edit button and edit/delete the post from there. Once I delete a post it brings me back to the “All Posts” page, but if I tried to manually navigate to the “All Posts” page it gives me the error message again.

There must be a way to fix this so I don’t have to use this silly work-around! Please help!
