An email mystery

    So I have tried a couple of contact forms and none of them worked. Then I realized I am not receiving system emails (like comment moderation, etc.). I have used WordPress for years never having a problem. I am using well used/known widgets. The only thing I can think of is that both sites which don’t work are hosted on name.com and both use Google Apps for email (and yes, I checked spam). So how do I investigate this and find an answer? It must either be the hosting or Google Apps.

    [Resolved]Thanks so much – I did this from the page you recommended: “As a plugin-based alternative, you could try Configure SMTP. It “Configure SMTP mailing in WordPress, including support for sending e-mail via SSL/TLS (such as GMail).” I would imagine it is the google apps and I used my google apps info for the plugin. So for those using google apps, install the plugin, fill it out and it works.
