Desperately need help – in which Weaver II files can I alter the by-author-code?

Hi,

I have already spent a whole day trying to find it. Since I don’t really know much about php and there are so many files in Weaver II I find myself not able to do this on my own.

The thing is: Under the title of each post there’s the author listed on index, archive and post files – and I want to change the code, particularly the link. There’s two authors up to now and I need to let wordpress check who the author is and then give a different link to any user. I’m about to use a if / then variable and I also already habe the snippets I will need. But I can’t seem to find the files where this by-author code is set! My snippets aren’t complete so I need the original code to alter that with my snippets. In the content-single.php, for instance, there’s the code for the bio, avatar and stuff that comes AFTER the post. I really only need that one under the title.

I need to get this done as soon as possible and I spent the whole day trying, but I’m a complete web-newbie and spent the last months teaching myself html and css first, so I really need help on this one.
