[Plugin: YOURLS: WordPress to Twitter] Old posts get short urls

I’ve got the same problem as mentioned in this thread:
The plugin creates short urls for all old postings. I think this is not good because of
1.) I am losing the short combinations for URLs ??
(more important)
2.) I think that this behaviour isn’t good for the blog performance.
