Mimicking the menu layout of my website

    I have a simple website here: https://www.sacharbowes.com and I would like my WordPress to look as much like that as possible. I just need the upper part of the website to look the same – the logo, the menu layout and the telephone number. I can change the basics within wordpress themes but I can’t have an entirely different look! I’d like it to feel like it was all the same website.

    Can anyone help?

  • You can do almost anything with wordpress — it’s just a question of how much time and work you want to put into it. See theme development for more information on creating a custom site. You could also hire someone to do it for you.

    There is nothing in your existing site that could not be done with WP — it’s a fairly simple and limited site.

    Hi there,

    Thanks. That doesn’t really answer my question. I just want to know how to make a theme (or edit one) so that the news section of my website (which will be the wordpress) looks exactly like the rest of my site – the same background image, links menu, and layout. With the body section I would have the wordpress.

    I don’t feel inclined to re-do my whole site through wordpress. But if someone can give me some tips or advice on how to get a theme done so it looks like the rest of my website I would be really happy. I’ve spent hours trying different things!
