    I am new here.
I created a child page on my site. The child page name is named “Fundraisers”.

I set “Foundation” as it’s parent, but when I look at my header menu, they both show up at the top level. I thought my new page would show up as a sub-menu. I appreciate any help.
    Thank you in advance. Buffmin.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

I am actually so new that I only had 1 plugin installed.
    I deactivated it. No help.
Maybe I am setting it up wrong?

1)I added new page and set it’s parent as “Foundation”
2)I then selected “Menu” on dashboard.
    3) On lower left, I selected “Fundraisers” and clicked “add to menu”.
It shows up at “bottom” of menu list.

When I view pages though,it does sit directly under the “Foundation” page and it does have a dash in front of it (I assume indicates a child page). Not sure why it would not show up on menu as sub-level.?
I appreciate your input. Sounds like it should be simple.

You need to move Fundraisers page in the menu dialog over slightly to the right.. that will create your drop down (sub-menu).
And you can move it up or down as well.

That did it. Thank you so much!
