Updated plugin readme file content not appearing on the directory

  • Hello everybody,
    We have a difficulty updating our plugin on WordPress directory related to the readme.txt file. We appreciate any answer that might help us overcome it. Here is the story:

    On November 2011 we made our initial submission of the Lanoba Social plugin version 1.x.x and we are currently trying to update it to version 2.x.x. Obviously, besides the source code of the plugin itself we have also updated the readme.txt file according to version 2.0.1. Unfortunately, on the WordPress directory the changes we made on the readme file do not appear, it is still showing the content of the old readme file of the previous version 1.3. We checked the readme file using the readme validation tool and it seems correct. We checked also svn and found no issues. Almost 24 hour passed now and no luck, the old content is still there and that’s confusing for the users who are willing to download and install the plugin as the instructions changed.

    Did anybody face this issue before or knows how to solve it? Prompt answers are appreciated as we urgently need to solve this problem.
