wptouch doesn't work – (on android or iphone)

  • Version 1.9.40.
    Fresh install doesn’t work on mobile but actually breaks site to not allow to see any page at all. So far this plugin breaks site on mobile phones.

    I’ve tried restricted mode and not allowing desktop first visit.

    Error:
    The website is dead when the plugin is enabled browsing via a android and iphone.

    Symptom:
    Get generic browser error back. Cannot view webpage

  • Works fine here, I’m testing on iPhone 4 and it looks fine. I was actually impressed, I mean it’s a free mobile theme (no coding necessary) and I can see everything, looks clean and works well. I haven’t tested it with videos, nextgen gallery, or any forms or anything, but for text it’s great.

    WPtouch will rarely, if ever, ‘break’ a site. Please check if another plugin is causing a conflict by briefly deactivating each of your other plugins one at a time and see if you find the culprit.

    No it doesn’t work on android or iphone on my site. I have a huge delay and a black background only.

    It also doesn’t work for https://www.mobilephoneemulator.com/
    All other sites work. So I can’t even do development accurately or at all. If I deactivate your plugin the site works on both cases.

    If the developer wants to help me to avoid bad feedback my URL is dhgstudios.bizioinc.com or derekgold.com

    I will activate/deactivate as we are on the phone live to get this working.
