Cant post to my blog, my post doesn't have the options

So i’ve been confused for days on how to post a new post to a specific page,finally came across a page with some video’s and realized, it’s not me, it’s my dashboard!
I don’t have any of the options it shows in the video on https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/
I don’t have add music, only picture, but in the video there are about 6-7 options to ad stuff into your post. and I don’t have a category drop down to the left, which is why I’m so confused, that would solve the ‘where’ to post my post to.
also my dashboard does not look anything like the one in the videos.

I’ve been ready to go for a couple days now but no one has answered my questions on posts, and so i’m sitting here, unable to post to my wordpress blog and there is no customer service or helpdesk with wordpress, or if there is, i can’t find that either.
