• Hello.

I want the content of my page to be set up in columns.

What I mean is that my posts should be beside each other and in boxes.

I’m not interested in putting the text in my posts in columns, but the posts themselves. Somewhat like timeline in Facebook.

I use weaver II and I know that if I pay 40$ I can get what I want, but there must be another way. In Weaver PRO it is called “Page with Posts – two cols”.

I hope you can help me, because as far as my google-fu goes, I can only find plugins and codes for dividing the text into columns. Not the page’s content itself.

(And I have not decided yet, if it is with or without a sidebar. Probably without.)

    I hope this made sense.

    Charlotte.

  • Since you have the Thesis theme, I would assume it would be somewhere in the Theme settings

scrambler – The code in the tread is not active, it just ends up above my header image. I put it in the <HEAD> section in my theame’s editor.

rachelbaker – I have Weaver II and it is not in the settings – only in Weaver II PRO, which I can’t afford.

I have found this code, which is exactly what I need, but I have no idea where to put it. I’m really NOT good at codeing.

You will need to provide more details on how you created your blog page.
if you create a blog page using a Static page based on the “Page with Posts” template, then you can use the “Display post Column” Drop down list found in the “Settings for “Page with Posts” Template” Section of the “Weaver II Options for this page” Area of the Page editing page in WordPress admin. This is not a WeaverII pro option, it is available in normal Weaver II.
If that option does not work, you may be using the default WordPress Blog page, in which case none of the options found there are active. This is determined by your settings in the Wp Settings > Reading area at the top of the page.
You may want to read the Weaver FAQ below for more on this.

You can make a simple test, create a New static page called Blog Test, base it on the page with posts template, and select the 2 columns options in “Display post Column”. then Add that page to your menu and have a look at it.
If you still have problems, I suggest you Open a Thread on the Weaver forum below
    https://forum.weavertheme.com/
with a link to your site with that test page active
