stattraq and mostwanted not working…

  • Hi Group,

    I’m trying to use stattraq 1.0a and mostwanted 0.1.4 to create a list of popular posts in my sidebar.

    I have had stattraq running for a few days now and it has collected maybe 1500 hits. However in the Most Viewed Posts list they are all categorized as “Multiple Posts”.

    So, when I put mostwanted in the sidebar template I get “No results available.” probably because stattraq hasn’t recorded hits correctly in the database.

    Anyone know what is going on or how to fix it ?

  • Hi Anders, we’ve spoken on #wordpress already so this is for completeness…

    There is a fix to pull in your old data, and a fix for future data too.

    1. MostWanted 0.1.8 includes an admin page; and on that page is a “Fix Stats” button. This will fix all your previous entries. If you don’t want to tweak the stattraq code, then doing doing this regularly will suffice.
