[Plugin: Featured Articles Lite] Page select button not working

    Hello,

    I’ve installed the Featured Article lite plug in. so far everything seems to work except the page select button. I can click the pages to select but when I press the button nothing happens. I’ve tried a complete uninstall of the plugin and reinstalled it. I’ve tried different browsers and OS with no luck. The post options seem to work fine, but I really need the page function.

    Any ideas or suggestions on how I can fix this problem? I just spent an hour searching through plugins and could not find one to fit my needs other than this one.

    Hello Julie,

    The problem might be caused by another plugin and most probably it’s related to JavaScript. Can you please use either Firebug or the console in Google Chrome and tell me if there are any errors?

    Thank you for the reply. I’m sorry, Above I miss-wrote it is the button after you have pressed “page select” and checked boxes of the pages you want, the “done, close window” is dead. I can even get a menu when I right click on it. I tried it on Safari, Firefox, Google Chrome, and IE9. And on Mac OS X 10.6.8, Windows XP Pro, & Vista.

    I usually use Firefox, I’m at work but will check out Firebug when I get home. Here is what I found…

    Seems like your theme and facebook-page-photo-gallery plugin are doing something wrong in JS. You could try to disable the facebook plugin and see if this remedies the problem. Also, if possible, take a look at the theme js. Looks like it all starts because the file responsible for tabs isn’t loaded.

    Thank a bunch!
    I disabled the facebook photos plug in and it fixed my problem. Now I need to find an alternative to it. Bummer.

    I stepped on a bunch of butterflies when I was in the learning process, I’m still finding dead elephants. I do need to go over my theme and pick at it.
