Comments no longer being emailed to me

    Hi All,

    Recently I noticed that I am not getting emailed any longer when I get comments. Did a search on this but only saw results from years ago… not sure if there is a new fix for this version of WP.

    At first I thought it was a spam issue on my ISP side, but realized that I have my personal email address registered with this site… and email are not being sent to my spam folder.

    Any ideas how I can fix this? This is a fairly recent issue. I noticed it happening a few weeks ago.

  • Are you sure your settings are still correct?
    (settings, comments, email when comment)

    Hi Peter,

    Setting seem to be correct:

    E-mail me whenever – both checked off
    E-mail me whenever Anyone posts a comment
    A comment is held for moderation

    Had this site for over two years and never changed the settings, so not sure what’s happening now.

    Have you tried a different email? Preferably a different domain.

    Not sure what else could be causing it.

    Just deleted and retyped it in and now it seems to be working. Strange!!
