Text in posts extends beyond what is visible

  • I’m a new user, but I’ve posted a couple of times and haven’t had this problem. When I type a post, the words extend beyond the visible screen quite a bit. In draft preview, I am unable to see the words that went beyond the screen.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Probably a css problem. Look there.

    Thanks, but if I haven’t made any changes, why would this happen? What do I need to look for in css to rectify this issue?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Curiously enough (and thankfully) the problem seems to have resolved itself! Very weird, but I’m grateful. If only all issues were this easy. (i.e., I posted another more important issue last night but haven’t gotten any replies) ??
