I was surprised to find that Digg Digg was no longer displaying the way it had previously in two different broswers. I have my WP and Digg Digg updated to the most recent version, but no joy.

    1. Facebook Like (XFBLM) button now only displays after the FIRST post on my index (home) page in Safari and Firefox. It used to display after all posts. It does work correctly in Chrome.

    2. Facebook Like (XFBML) and Twitter buttons now do not show the count anymore in Safari or Firefox. It does show the counts correctly in Chrome.

    3. Facebook Like (XFBML) and Twitter buttons are misaligned from the other buttons in Safari and Firefox. They do align correctly in Chrome.

This is so frustrating. I thought I had found the perfect answer as it used to work perfectly between browsers, but apparently changes have been made. I do not use the floating bar, but rather prefer buttons after posts. Any other solutions I should try instead of Digg Digg?

Andrew, thank you so much for your response. I apologize for having forgotten to include a link so others could view the issue and offer suggestions. I should also mention for troubleshooting purposes, that I’m using these browsers (Safari, Facebook and Chrome) on a Mac running the latest version of Lion.

    IT’S FIXED!!!!!!!!!!

Andrew!!!! And everyone! I just discovered that the problem was at MY end, and I sincerely apologize for assuming it was Digg Digg. Perhaps this information might help you troubleshoot for someone else experiencing the same issue, so I do want to share it with you.

A few weeks ago, I had installed a browser plug-in called Do Not Track into Safari and Firefox. Apparently IT is was broke the functionality of Digg Digg. I can certainly understand why it would have broken the count from Facebook and Twitter, but it is odd that it also broke the Facebook button from appearing after all posts on the index (home) page and that it also broke the alignment.

But after I disabled Do Not Track in both Safari and Firefox, the Digg Digg buttons all appeared perfectly as they had before.

    Again, my apologies.
