[Plugin: Basic Google Maps Placemarks] Uploading a lot of placemarks at once?

    The plugin doesn’t have a special feature for that, but it uses WordPress’s custom post type architecture, so you could build a regular WRX file and import it with the standard WordPress import plugin.

    As an alternative, I found the “Create Items & Taxonomies” plugin very useful – I had 285 placemarks to create, each belonging to 3 categories and to include a shortcode (each one with different argument).

    I can’t compare with building a WRX file as I’ve never built one, but as a novice at this (WordPress, php etc) it looked easier.

    Hi folks I just wrote a post about this here and how to use the CSV Import tool… it’s not perfect but helps a little!
